CTU-San Remigio faculty and Staff with CTU-Daanbantayan College of Education Key Officials conducted orientation and deployment of pre-service teachers with their cooperating school principals and teachers last March 30, 2022.
Professor Braulio Diongson, Chairman of the Student Teaching, discussed the CHED Memorandum on the deployment of pre-service teachers and the agreement between CTU and DepEd. The short dialogue between Prof. Diongson and the School Principals and Teachers covered the expected tasks of the pre-service teachers and the responsibilities of the cooperating schools.
The introduction of pre-service teachers to cooperating schools followed immediately after the student teaching internship orientation. The orientation primarily discussed the new normal policies of the student teaching program and the parents’ primary functions and support for the PST’s practice teaching.
Cooperating School Principals assured CTU-San Remigio that they would help hone and develop the knowledge and skills of the pre-service teachers in the field of teaching and let the pre-service teachers use their school’s teaching and learning tools equipment.
The Dean of Instruction/Assistant Campus Director, Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., Dr Nikkithea L. Beduya, ICPA Director, and Prof. Camilo M. Argawanon, CTU-San Remigio Acting Campus Director, and CTU-San Remigio Faculty and Staff also graced the orientation and deployment.
A total of 30 students have deployed: 16 BTLEd Pre-Service Teachers and 14 from BSEd-Mathematics to Argawanon Integrated School, Batad Integrated School, Busogon Integrated School, Cayang National High School, Tambongon Integrated School, La Paz National High School and Juancho and Placida Padayao National High School.
