In a landmark initiative on April 2, 2024, the Tabogon Municipal Health Office, in partnership with the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development, orchestrated a transformative bloodletting campaign under the banner “Give Blood and Keep the World Beating.” Spearheading this vital endeavor was Mr. Kervin D. Martinez, the esteemed campus nurse at CTU Tabogon Extension, whose fervent advocacy ignited widespread participation among students, faculty, and staff.
The event marked a significant stride towards addressing the perpetual demand for life-saving blood transfusions. By fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation, the community aimed to amplify the accessibility and adequacy of blood reserves, crucially benefiting individuals in critical medical circumstances.
Mr. Martinez’s pivotal role in support for the bloodletting initiative exemplifies the power of individual commitment in effecting communal change. Through his unwavering dedication, he not only catalyzed participation but also imbued a sense of purpose, enlightening the populace on the life-affirming impact of their contributions. | Michelle P.
