The training for the PDL in BJMP- Cebu City will be provided by the extension team from CTU Danao. This training focuses on basic house wiring and is conducted by expert faculty in this field. The project will be implemented by the extension team headed by the project leader. The implementation process begins with the orientation of the overview of the project and re-orientation of values which is relevant to the PDL beneficiaries. Then, training proper will commence, starting with the orientation of the tools and safety precautions and will proceed to the skills training.
The PDL beneficiaries need diversion from boredom and the feeling of being useless and the need to be included in society. The BJMP administration admitted their willingness to support the programs that would provide the needs of PDL. The needs of the PDL are endless, they donโt need skills training only but also the need to belong. And this need can be addressed through these skills training wherein they work in groups and meet people from the outside. This project is anchored on the SDG targets, namely, to eliminate poverty, promote gender equality, and forge partnerships with other agencies. The university, in its cooperation in achieving the SDG targets, made sure of the relevance of its vision, mission, goals, and objectives to the needs of the people, especially those who need it most. These endeavors are to be conducted by the following relevant CTU curricular programs: BSHM faculty and the experts and students will deliver the skills to the PDL.
