The Cebu Technological University (CTU) – Agriculture and Technology Business Incubator (ATBI) team conducted a skills training program with the incubatees in Bantayan Islands, marking a significant step towards empowering aspiring entrepreneurs in the region. The training program, led by the dedicated ATBI team, aimed to equip the incubatees with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their entrepreneurial ventures. Through a series of workshops and hands-on activities, participants had the opportunity to learn about business development, marketing strategies, financial management, and other key aspects of entrepreneurship.
The two-day training program conducted on September 26-27, 2024, provided valuable insights and practical tools for the incubators and fostered a sense of community and collaboration among participants in the Madridejos and Bantayan islands. By coming together to share ideas, experiences, and challenges, the incubatees were able to support and learn from each other, creating a network of like-minded individuals committed to success. The training program took place in the picturesque setting of Bantayan Islands, offering a unique and inspiring backdrop for the incubatees to immerse themselves in the learning experience led by the University Director for IPTBM, Dr. Naomi Bajao. As they honed their skills and expanded their knowledge, participants could also appreciate the beauty and culture of the local community, further enriching their training experience.
Overall, the skills training conducted by the CTU ATBI team in Bantayan Islands served as a testament to the commitment of the university to empower and support aspiring entrepreneurs in the region. By providing valuable resources, guidance, and growth opportunities, the ATBI program continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of entrepreneurship in Cebu and beyond.
