The Cebu Technological University (CTU) through the Office of Grants and Administration recently conducted the “Grantsmanship Essentials: Capacity Building for Crafting Fundable Proposals” program on September 16-17 and September 30 – October 1, 2024. This comprehensive training aimed to equip faculty members with the expertise needed to develop impactful and compliant research proposals. Topics included the preparation of (GAA)-funded projects, strategies for securing external grants, and leveraging research outcomes for faculty reclassification, all while adhering to institutional research priorities and national development objectives. The program also featured personalized mentorship sessions, ensuring participants refined their proposals to meet funding standards. This initiative reaffirms CTU’s dedication to advancing a robust research culture, fostering innovation across AgriFisheries, Engineering and Technology, Arts, Sciences, and Education.
