Cebu Technological University (CTU) – Office of the Vice President for Research and Development continues to lead in innovation and inclusivity with its seminar-workshop “Generative AI for Efficient Research Management, World University Ranking Initiatives, and Gender Mainstreaming for Sustainability“ on November 28–29, 2024, at the Cebu Grand Hotel. The event brought together CTU faculty and staff to explore the transformative role of generative AI in streamlining research processes, from proposal development to academic writing, ensuring efficiency and quality. The sessions also focused on aligning institutional achievements with the metrics of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), enhancing CTU’s global competitiveness.
Complementing these technological advancements, the event emphasized the importance of gender mainstreaming in promoting inclusivity and sustainability within the university. Faculty and staff collaborated on strategies to integrate Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives into research, programs, and policies, reflecting CTU’s commitment to equity and social responsibility.
