Dr. Raamah C. Rosales started as a part-time instructor in October 2013 at the College of Arts and Sciences, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main. He was teaching science-related subjects for Senior High School and College students. He became a Research Assistant at the Integrated Coastal Resources Management Center (ICRMC) Office in June 2015 until May 2021. He was accepted as a full-time faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences in June 2017 under the Pure Sciences Department.
He finished his bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1998 at the University of the Visayas, Colon St., Cebu City. He proceeded with a Bachelor of Laws at the same institution in 2006. He was granted a scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for his Master’s degree in Biology program at the University of San Carlos-Talamban Campus, Cebu City and finished it in 2015. He proceeded with his Ph.D. Degree in Biology at the same institution under the DOST scholarship program and graduated in December 2019.
He continued to work on coastal vulnerability assessment in coastal communities along the northern part of Cebu Island. He has established partnerships with local governments units, the University of San Carlos – Biology Department and JPIC – IDC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation – Integrated Development Center, Inc.) for the implementation of a project entitled “Adaptation to climate change and enhancement of the resilience of small – scale fishers from 12 villages in Bogo Bay, Cebu Philippines”. He is also involved in a CHED – DARE TO project with the Visayas State University on “Marine Biodiversity Conservation in Camotes and Cuatro Islands, Camotes Sea, Central Philippines for Sustainable Marine Economy”.
Dr. Jonathan O. Etcuban

Dr. Jonathan O. Etcuban is a faculty researcher of the government agencies such as DOST, and DILG. He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Science at the University of Cebu. It is at the same university where he obtained his Master of Science in Teaching Mathematics. He is also graduated with the degrees Master of Science in Information Technology, Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Management, and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management.
Dr. Etcuban is actively involved in several research projects and had done a research work in the university and externally funded research by DOST, DILG, Portugal government for Magellanic studies, and England’s Centre for Fisheries and Aquatic Science (CEFAS) entitled” “Marine spatial planning of aquaculture facilities in the Philippines: Protecting biodiversity whilst maximising economic returns for local communities” in partnership with CEFAS in Lowestoft, England, under CHED-Newton Fund Institutional Links Programme.
Dr. Etcuban had presented research papers at various research conferences here and abroad.
He is a recipient of several awards. To name a few: Outstanding Researcher Award is given by the University of Cebu, Outstanding World Researcher awarded by the International Association for Multidisciplinary Research in Hongkong and Outstanding Research Manager awarded by the Asian Association for Academic Integrity.
Formerly, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Cebu’s research journals. An invited speaker for research, statistics, and publishable writings.
Currently, the Research Chairperson, College of Education of the Cebu Technological University.
Engr. Hana Astrid Tunacao

Engr. Canseco-Tuñacao received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of San Carlos through the Metrobank ACCESS Scholarship Program in 2010. She earned her MS and PhD in Construction and Civil Engineering Major in Structural Engineering degree from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taipei, Taiwan in June 2014 and February 2017, respectively. She completed her MS and PhD degrees under the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO) Taiwan Scholarship Program and the NTUST International Student Graduate Scholarship Program, respectively. Her research interests include reinforced concrete design and seismic resistant design.

Prof. Reciel Ann B. Tanaid

She received a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (cum laude) from Visayas State University. She also graduated with a Masters in Food Science and Technology in the same university through a scholarship from DOST-ASTHRDP (Department of Science and Technology- Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program). She is a member of various educational and research organizations such as the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and the Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT).
She is currently engaged in multidisciplinary research and has publications in the field of tourism and food science. Her research interests are on food product development, food science and food safety. She is involved in university-funded projects and participated in activities to acquire external funding for some research projects. She has quite a few publications in food science ranging from international publications to CHED accredited ones.

Dr. Melanie M. Himang is an Associate Professor V at Cebu Technological University Main, R. Palma Street, Cebu City 6000 and was born in Talaga, Argao, Cebu. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in 2003, Master of Science in Industrial Technology in 2004, and Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Management in Cebu Technological University Main, R. Palma Street, Cebu City in June 2007 and a Special Education Licensing at Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia, U.S.A. through an online program. She is currently the Director Research in the College of Computer, Communications and Information Technology at Cebu Technological University Main. She has been teaching for 15 years in the field of Computer Technology. She has presented research and won awards and recognition in local, national and international fora. She authored journals and book publications and has been a member of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators.

Dr. Celbert M. Himang

Celbert M. Himang is a Full Professor at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main, Cebu, Philippines. In 2001, he earned a doctorate in technology management from Cebu Technological University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Visayas State University in 1997, proficiency units toward a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education from Palompon Institute of Technology in 1998, and units toward a Bachelor of Laws from 2001 to 2006 at USJR. He then pursued a Master's in Management from PIT, which he completed in 1998 through a consortium with the MIS program of the Pangasinan State University. Between 1998 and 2000, while pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Education Program Management (ABD) at Eastern Visayas State University, he took use of a DOST scholarship to pursue a Diploma in Mathematics Teaching at the University of the Philippines Open University. Between 1998 and 2000, he completed Massive Upgrading classes at Visayas State University in preparation for a Master's program in Mathematics Teaching. He has taken MOOCs on EDX and COURSERA, as well as other open online courses. He has passed the External Lead Auditor's Course and has received training in a variety of ISO standards, including quality management systems, environmental management systems, and food safety management systems.
Currently, he serves as Associate Dean of the Graduate School and Director of Research for the Graduate School on the Main Campus. He formerly served as the University Planning Officer for SPMS, the Head Data Analyst, the Focal Person for SUC Levelling Documentation, the Focal Person for PBB, an external and internal auditor, and a senior AACCUP Accreditor.
He has authored scholarly works such as Thesis Writing, Dissertation Writing, Generative Writing for Publication, Formula-Free Statistics with SPSS, Participatory Research Guide, Inferential Statistics, Multivariate Statistics, Covariance-based SEM, and PLS-SEM.
He is currently conducting research and has over 40 forthcoming and published articles in at least one SCOPUS-indexed journal on topics such as Industry 4.0, multi-attribute decision making, technology acceptance or utilization, technology transfer, technology development, tourism management, and distance learning.

Dr. Edgardo P. Lillo

Dr. Edgardo P. Lillo is designated as the University Director for RDE Centers, Professor IV in the College of Forestry, Cebu Technological University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in the Visayas State College of Agriculture, obtained his Master’s Degree in Forestry at Visayas State University and pursued his Doctorate degree in Philosophy at Cebu State College of Science and Technology in Main Campus last 2007. He further pursued his Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry last 2017 at the University of Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), Laguna Campus. He was chosen to participate in Flora and Fauna Assessment Using Permanent Biodiversity Monitoring System (PBMS) in Cebu Island Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) as a project staff of CTU-DOST-NICER funded by the DOST-Grant-In-Aid under the Science-4-Change Program of the Department of Science and Technology. He authored and co-authored several research and published papers in local, national, and international peer-reviewed journals and has several citations.
Dr. Marjohn C. Niño

Dr. Marjohn C. Niño is an Assistant Professor of Cebu Technological University (CTU) Barili. He completed his Ph.D. in Crop Science at Chungbuk National University in South Korea. His research works include genetic improvement of cereals for disease resistance using genetic engineering and molecular breeding and trait discovery using functional genomics tools such as transcriptomics and QTL mapping. His research interests include plant-pathogen interaction, biotic resistance and abiotic stress tolerance in plants, functional genomics, and molecular breeding. He senior authored eight and co-authored eight refereed articles in international journals listed in Web of Science.

Prof. Ador A. Pepito’s work started in 2004 as Research Assistant at Cebu Technology University (CTU) Carmen until 2009. Then, he pursued a Master’s degree in Fisheries under the Accelerated Human Resource Development Program (AHRDP) of the Department of Science and Technology from 2009 until 2012. After completion, he returned to the institution in 2012 with the same work as Research Assistant, but he was also doing a Part-Time Teaching job until September 2017. On September 17, 2017, he was hired as an Instructor and designated as the Director of the Research and Development Office until the present.
He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries major in Post-Harvest Technology from the Cebu State College of Science and Technology (now CTU Carmen) in 2004. He graduated with his Master’s Degree in Fisheries major in Fish Processing Technology at the University of the Philippines Visayas in 2016.
His research works encompass the area of food science, fish processing technology, aquatic sciences, natural product development, and fish biology, as evident for research publications.

Dr. Ulysis D. Malait works as a Mathematics Instructor at Cebu Technological University Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus. He obtained his doctorate degree in Development Education at Cebu Technological University and his Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics Education at Cebu Normal University . He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education major in Mathematics at Palompon Institute of Technology in Palompon, Leyte. He worked as a classroom teacher in DOANE Baptist School in Isabel, Leyte and operated a personal business before he transferred to Cebu Technological University. At present, he is the Campus Research Director of CTU Cebu City Mountain Campus and handles classes of the Graduate School.
Prof. Rowena P. Dato-on

Prof. Rowena P. Dato-on is “jack of all trades, master of none” because she had experienced a variety of works a long time ago. Previously she was a sewer in an import-export manufacturing company, a secretary in a textile printing press, and a secretary of the franchise manager of Avon Company before she embarked into the world of teaching. She started her first teaching career at Cebu Technological University Daanbantayan Campus way back 2002. She is almost 19 years now handling Mathematics, Statistics and Research subjects. She is currently the Research Director in her campus.
Prof. Dato-on is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics at West Visayas State University (WVSU) Lambunao Campus, Lambunao, Iloilo. She graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Management and Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan Campus and her Master in Education major in Mathematics at CTU Main Campus. She had attended the trainor’s training in “Matematika sa Makabagong Daigdig” at Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU).
Prof. Dato-on’s research works were inclined on Education. She had GAA-funded projects in this area and is currently into the process of publishing her research outputs in a reputable journal.
Engr. Christine Omela Ocampo

Engr. Christine Omela Ocampo works at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao since 2017. She obtained her Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering at the University of San Carlos, Technological Center last 2014 and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in the University of San Carlos Technological Center last 2010. She is currently taking up her Doctor of Philosophy in Management (Candidate). She was formerly designated as Chairman for the Department of Industrial Engineering in CTU Danao. She has been an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines since 2018. She worked as a quality assurance engineer and production control engineer in Muramoto Audio-Visual, Inc., Phils. And Cebu Microelectronics Inc., respectively.

Dr. Rosita D. Bagsit

Dr. Rosita D. Bagsit is an Associate Professor V of the Cebu Technological University handling research subjects in the Technology Department and education subjects in the Graduate School Department. She is the Assistant Campus Director and the Director of Research and Development Department. She is the Assistant Campus Quality Management Representative (QMR), and Board of Management (BOM). She is also designated as the Chairperson, Campus Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Technical Working Group (TWG) Planning Officer and Performance Management Team (PMT). She is also the focal person of the QS ranking and in-charge of the consolidation of campus reports.

Prof. Kent Marcial L. Catubis is an Assistant Professor 1 of Cebu Technological University Tuburan under the College of Agriculture. He is a licensed agriculturist specializing in Horticulture. He is also an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) under the Agriculture and Forestry Division.
He finished his bachelor's and master’s degree in Agriculture major in Horticulture at Cebu Technological University Barili last 2013 and 2015.
His research interest is on plant stress tolerance, plant abiotic stresses, plant physiology, SMART agriculture, organic agriculture, and biological control of pests.
