To ensure that the technologies developed will reach the desired end users and to ensure strong linkage with various stakeholders, Rural Development and Communication Service Unit will also be established to perform technology dissemination and technology transfer to rural communities in the Philippines. The unit works closely, acting as a bridge between the center and the local communities, to undertake technology transfer, demonstration and assimilation, as well as human resource development to improve the standard of living and household earnings for the village. They are also in- charge of fostering linkages for fund sources or collaborative research among others.
