The Center for Communication and Media Research in collaboration with the Student Affairs Office and the Department of Development Communication, and Arts and Culture invited Engr. Fernando Mangubat Jr. during one of their radio plan sessions on February 5, 2021.
Engr. Mangubat presented the results of the research project titled “Profiling of Listeners of the Campus-based Public Information System FM Band Radio of CTU-Tuburan Campus” to the Chairs of the Communication and Media and faculty of the Department of Development Communication led by Prof. Mydah Kabingue, Chair of the said department.
According to Engr. Mangubat, CTU-Tuburan campus built a radio station to disseminate news and information and provide entertainment to the listeners from Tuburan Campus to Tabuelan, San Remigio, some parts of Daanbantayan, Tabogon, Borbon, Asturias and some parts of Balamban.
It has now been three years that the BT Radio station has been serving the community through the information dissemination and has been collaborating with government agencies such as the Department of Agriculture, Department of Education, National Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS).
