The third session of the CAS Research Proposal Presentation webinar series was held on November 27, 2020.
Representatives of the proponents from different departments presented their conceptualized papers for GAA 2021 funding.
Dr. Christian Ray Licen presented the “Developing the Cebuano community through drama and theater” while Prof. Mydah Kabingue shared the topic on Climate Change Discourse.
Moreover, Dr. Sylvester Cortes provided an overview of the pest control and Dr. Nemia represented their team with the topic on the “Lived-Experience approach in the implementation of public policies for social management in the prevention of social and economic shock.”
The last topic was on epidemiology and social innovation among PLHIVS during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To prepare the proponents of GAA proposal submission, Dr. Sheilalaine Romulo, University Director of Research Ethics Office and Gender and Development, demonstrated the filling out of forms and other requirements for submission.
Dr. Rowanne Marie Maxilom-Mangompit also presented the qualitative research designs, instruments and sample empirical papers. –ccmr/rmmm
