The Intellectual Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL) invited the Cebu Technological University to attend the inauguration of “ITSO Presidents’ Summit” in Metro Manila, August 19, 2019.
Dr. Rosein Ancheta Jr, CTU President, Dr. Adrian Ybanez, Vice President for Research and Development and Dr. Jivulter C. Mangubat, CTU – ITSO Director represented the Cebu Technological University.
Further, the summit involved discussions on the series of IPOPHIL programs designed towards further assisting of CTU’s Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) network. Signing of the memorandum of agreement was also done in this event.
According to Juris Doctor Ralph Jarvis Alindogan, OIC Director of DITTB in his letter to Dr. Ancheta, “in light of the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), as well of the dramatic developments in the global innovation ecosystem, IPOPHIL thought of the need to further strengthen the ITSO so that it can better capacitated (sic) and equipped (sic) to respond to the contingencies of creativity and innovation as engine of national economic growth and development”. – rmmm/ccmr
