Dr. Cristie Ann Jaca

Cristie Ann Jaca finished her Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English (BSEd-English), Master of Arts in English Language Teaching (MA-ELT), and Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the University of San Carlos. She is currently an Associate Professor at Cebu Technological University. At present, she is the University Director for Communication and Media and was the former University Director for Curriculum, Planning, and Development. She is a teacher-researcher who conducts research, gives teacher training, writes work texts, presents papers at conferences, and publishes in academic journals. Her fields of interest include Oral Communication, English Language Teaching, MTB-MLE, Reading Instruction, Teacher-Training, Research, and Curriculum Development. She taught high school for 2 years, college for 25 years, and graduate school for 15 years mostly handling research classes. She is a licensed professional teacher who constantly updates her teaching skills through research and special training to enhance her profession as a teacher-researcher, textbook writer, trainer, and curriculum developer. She was the Head of the Language Section of the Department of Languages and Literature in Academic Years 2008-2010 and the Chair of the Department of Teacher Education in 2014-2016 of the University of San Carlos, where she served for 22 years. She is one of the pioneer MTB-MLE trainers and PEAC SHS trainers in the country. She has written some books and has made a name in teacher training as an invited resource speaker in several seminars and lecture workshops in different parts of the country and even abroad.

Wilfredo G. Anoos is currently the Chairman of the Communication and Media Research - San Fernando Campus and an Assistant Professor-II at Cebu Technological University San Fernando Campus, San Fernando, Cebu.
He is taking up his post graduate education, Doctor of Development Education (Dev.Ed.D.) at Cebu Technological University, Cebu City. He earned his Master of Arts in Education Major in Administration and Supervision in March 2017 at the Cebu Technological University, Cebu City and Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English on 1997-1999 at the University of the Visayas Mandaue Campus.

Miss Rumuela Wong is the Chair for the Center for Communication and Media Research (CCMR) in Naga campus.
She earned her units for Master of Arts in Literature and Master of Arts in Literature at Cebu Normal University.
She is passionate about writing, especially poetry and essays.

Marcelina B. Sarte is an alumna and an Instructor I of CTU Argao Campus. She is the adviser of the Southern Ripples, the official student publication and at the same time, the Chairperson of the Language, Literature, and Communication Department of the aforementioned campus. She started as a casual Admin Aide at the President's Office and a part-time instructor in 2015 at the Cebu City Campus where she also finished her 18 Education Units and Masters of Education Major in English Teaching Degree in 2017. She finished her Doctor of Philosophy in English Language degree at the University of San Jose Recoletos in 2019 under the CHED K-12 scholarship program.

Rosalea Fenina A. Margallo is currently an Associate Professor II and the Chairman of the Student Publication at CTU Moalboal Campus.
She obtained her Bachelor's Degree, BS Development Communication Major in Community Broadcasting, in Visayas State University (VSU) formerly (Visayas State College of Agriculture), Baybay City, Leyte in March 1995.

Catherine P. Loseñara is currently an Instructor I and the Chair for the Center for Communication and Media Research (CCMR) at CTU Tuburan Campus.

Angen May Fabro-Charcos is currently an Assistant Professor at CTU Tuburan Campus, the Center for Communication and Media Research (CCMR) - Tuburan Campus, adviser of Campus Publication and Student Publication ( The Polytechnic Bulletin), Chair of Faculty Publication (La Pluma), and Chair of the Instructional Materials Bureau.
She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in English with major concentration in Literature in the University of San Jose Recoletos and Doctor in Development Education in CTU Main. She finished her Master of Science in Teaching English in the University of Cebu Main Campus and Bachelor of Arts in English at the same university.
