The researchers presented their findings related to COVID-19 pandemic at the CTU Research Congress on December 11, 2020.
Dr. Sheilalaine Romulo presented the phenomenological experience of COVID-19 survivors in the local isolation facility in the Philippines
Further, Prof. Aida Verga Un presented the COVID-19 semantics affecting the life-world of Filipinos.
Other topics discussed by the presenters were on urban agriculture by Dr. Sylvester Cortes, alternative medicine by Prof. Andrea Matilda, and food product development for the pandemic affected communities by Prof. Marlon Mata.
These researchers represented their team of the GAA-funded research projects approved last September 2020.
Dr. Rotacio Gravoso found these topics enriching and relevant to the current global health crisis on how people survived and cope with the pandemic.
Moreover, other topics from Barili, Argao, San Francisco and Danao campuses included wastewater, seaweeds, soil utilization of waste, and sanitization.
This research congress was also an indicator how far the researchers were in accomplishing their projects. –ccmr/rmmm
