Vice President for Research and Development, Dr. Adrian Ybañez introduced the National Research Council members in the Central Visayas on January 12, 2021 during the NRCP Caravan via zoom. Among the introduced members were the researchers from the Cebu Technological University.
Being the focal person in the NRCP Science and Technology Expert’s Pool (NSTEP) Region 7, Dr. Ybañez hoped to increase the number of memberships in NRCP. He also shared his experiences being a member and awardee that NRCP provides a good platform for collaboration and opportunity to connect with other researchers.
Benefits of the members were also mentioned during the caravan including grants for thesis and dissertation writing, research projects, publications, and professional development.
NRCP already has 4876 members as of November 2020 as reported by Ms. Mary Charlotte Fresco from the Technical Capacity Development Section.
NRCP is an organization with highly trained scientists and researchers in the Philippines.
