The CTU-San Fernando (CTU-SF) GAA-funded research project, “Exploring Literacy on Local Water Conservation Practices for Sustainable Water Management in San Fernando,” which highlights research efforts promoting sustainability, was monitored by the research and extension personnel on July 3, 2025.

The monitoring team was led by Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation, together with Ms. Angel Marie P. Pasaje and Ms. Shajara Serate from the extension office, and Ms. Christine Mondragon, OIC-University Director for Research and Development, along with Ms. Irene A. Monte and Ms. Mary Ann Grace G. Otic from the research office.

The team provided the CTU-SF pool of researchers with insightful tips and assistance to ensure the proper alignment of research fund implementation and utilization.

This activity motivated the group of researchers to diligently pursue the project within the designated timeframe.

As the campus’s first-ever approved GAA-funded research, this initiative is expected to ignite more significant research endeavors for the benefit of the community.
