LOOK: 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration Kicks Off with Vibrant Opening Ceremony

The 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration officially commenced with a vibrant opening ceremony, carrying this year’s theme: “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

Hosted by Mr. Romer C. Ranoco, the brief yet meaningful program began with a warm welcome message delivered by GAD Chairperson Mrs. Laila A. Hobrero. In her speech, she underscored the inclusive spirit of the celebration, stating, “This celebration is not exclusive to all women out there, but it’s all about all of us.”

One of the highlights was a keynote message from the esteemed speaker, Dr. Collin C. Garrido, who emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment and the value of inclusivity in shaping a progressive and dynamic society 

As the program neared its end, the energy soared with a lively solidarity dance led by the College of Business and Management (CBM) faculty and staff, alongside members of the Students’ Organization of Hospitality Management (SOHM). The dance symbolized unity and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a meaningful month-long celebration honoring the vital roles, rights, and contributions of women in all sectors of society.
