The University stands firm to its commitment in producing top-caliber students, honing their craft as they reap honors during the recently-concluded Cebu Goes Culinary 2025 held at the Sky Hall, SM Seaside City Cebu on September 26-27, 2025. This event is organized by the Hotel, Resort & Restaurant Association of Cebu, Inc. (HRRACI) in partnership with the National Food Showdown bringing together 740 participants from both professional and students (hospitality and culinary schools) from Cebu, Bohol, Negros, Leyte, Ormoc, and Bacolod. This occasion aims to promote Filipino cuisine, Cebuano and regional dishes, using indigenous and seasonal ingredients, to raise standards in Filipino food – not just in taste, but in presentation, sourcing, and consciousness of an heirloom cuisine, to position Cebu as one of the most popular gastronomic destinations, pecking both tourism and local pride.
