WATER CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

This policy will guide administrators, faculty, staff, and students in the planning, conducting, monitoring, and evaluating of the university’s endeavors. It will play a significant role as it continues to build environmentally sustainable campuses. It will continue to promote environmental advocacies to its stakeholders.

ENERGY CONSERVATION

The purpose of this policy is to define CTU’s approach in adequately managing its energy usage, leading to efficiency and conservation. Cebu Technological University sends a notification to all faculty, non-academic employees, students, on-site contractors/suppliers working on CTU’s behalf, and visitors encouraging our campus community to take easy steps to conserve electrical energy.

POLLUTION AND WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING PROGRAM

CTU generally aims to reduce pollution and its material wastes produced by its day-to-day operations and manage waste to reduce harm to the environment. The program is geared towards making its endeavors environment friendly. These policies apply to all faculty, staff, students, visitors, temporary workers in CTU (e.g., construction workers), and concessionaires. Campus Directors shall be mainly responsible for ensuring compliance with these policies in their respective campuses.

TRANSPORTATION POLICIES

Faculty, staff, students and visitors traveling on Official Business or for University-sponsored off-campus trips or events are expected to follow the standard procedures. As part of the approval process, those who will use the University transportation should be required to affirm that they understand and agree to abide by the expectations relative to official business travels. The transportation policies mentioned herein are designed for the health and safety of all CTU members and environmental sustainability.
