BSHM 3 recently concluded a meaningful culminating activity spanning two days on June 5 and June 7, 2023. The theme, “Exploring, Adapting, and Innovating Diverse Multi-Cultural Cuisines,” set the stage for an immersive experience. The students were divided into two sets, with the first group performing on the first day and the second group acting as guests alongside CTU professors and Dr. Rolina Paran.
On the second day, Set B students had the opportunity to showcase their culinary prowess by serving a delightful array of dishes. Each group presented a selection of seven different courses, demonstrating their undeniable skills in food preparation, artistic plating, and impeccable service. Every plate they served embodied their originality, dedication, and love for their craft. They relished the chance to cater to a diverse range of guests, working tirelessly in the bustling kitchen and meticulously arranging the physical space.
Undoubtedly, this experience left a profound impact on the BSHM students. They were overjoyed to gain firsthand insights into their potential future careers. Their advisor, Mr. Oneal Yongco, deserves their sincere gratitude and appreciation for facilitating this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With his initiative and support, the event achieved such success. This activity served as a treasure trove of knowledge that the students will carry into their future endeavors, providing valuable preparation for their upcoming ventures.
