Cebu Technological University-Daanbantayan Campus Tabogon Extension went through a program of class observation on October 16, 2023. In adherence to the morning schedule, the class monitoring started at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 12:00 p.m. All the faculty were keenly observed in their classrooms during the period of time conducted by the designated faculty from CTU Daanbantayan Campus.
In the afternoon, the respective faculty and staff were gathered for the Monitoring, Re-orientation, and Feedbacking program. The program started with preliminaries, such as invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, ASEAN Hymn, and CTU Hymn. Afterward, the respected Campus Director of CTU-Tabogon Extension, Dr. Rolina C. Paran, extended a hearty welcome to all of the faculty and staff as she delivered her welcome message. The Statement of Purpose was discussed by Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., Dean of Instruction, and the Assistant Campus Director of CTU-Daanbantayan Campus. The faculty and staff of CTU-Tabogon Extension were inspired and motivated as the ever-vibrant Campus Director of CTU-Daanbantayan Campus, Dr. Ruben M. Ungui, gave his inspirational message. His heartfelt words serve as an encouragement to the CTU-Tabogon faculty and staff.
The recognition of the newly-hired faculty and staff was presented by Ms. Jocellie Abella Montemor, Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III), followed by the discussion of Ms. Sofia M. Montana, Administrative Officer V, about the administrative policies and HRM Core Systems. Furthermore, another set of significant information regarding the Instruction of Academic Policies was discussed by the honored guests, Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., Assistant Campus Director/Dean of Instruction; Dr. Vivian M. Arreglo, Dean in the College of Education; and Dr. Mailyn T. Lequigan, Dean in the College of Technology and EngIneering. Moreover, Dr. Lovella Christianne A. Gulle, Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (QA) presented and discussed the topic of Accreditation and Quality Assurance.
After the discussions on certain topics, the feedbacking session began, where the speakers made profound remarks to the faculty and staff.
Additionally, the acknowledgment and distribution of the certificates were granted to the guests and participants by Dr. Rolina C. Paran, Campus Director of CTU Tabogon Extension, and Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., Assistant Campus Director/Dean of Instruction of CTU-Daanbantayan Campus. For the finale, Mr. Rey Anthony C. Petiluna, BSHM Instructor, led the benediction to formally close the program.
The event successfully ended, leaving the faculty and staff with the necessary and valuable information about the responsibility of handling students and classes.
