Celebrating Valentine’s Day by distributing rice to the students

During the Valentines Day, the CTU-Tabogon Extension Campus Supreme Student Government spearheaded an initiative where the university opted for a practical gift resonating with students.

The event commenced in which Hon. Jewel Pareja, SSG Senator, warmly greeted attendees. Hon. Maria Gladys Taneo, SSG President, read the statement of purpose, followed by Dr. Rolina C. Paran, the Campus Director, delivering a heartwarming message.

Expressing delight at the overwhelming response, Mr. Ronnie A. Hingco Jr., Municipal Administrator, emphasized the broader significance of Valentine’s Day, extending beyond romantic love to appreciation for those around us. He noted the event’s role in strengthening friendship and camaraderie integral to the CTU-Tabogon Extension experience.

As part of the initiative, bags of rice were distributed to students, addressing sustenance needs for both students and their families. Recognizing economic challenges, especially amid scarcity, this act of kindness alleviated burdens and brought smiles to many faces.
