CAS launches its Project TUBOD

CTU-Tuburan College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) has always supported reinforcement programs that strive to expand and foster sustainable and progressive outcomes that’ll ease the lives of the residents; thus, on October 08, 2022, CAS launched its extension program for PROJECT T.U.B.O.D. (Turismo atong Ugmaron alang sa Bag-ong Oportunidad alang sa Dugang kalambuan) at the Municipal Conference Hall.

This project is planned to contribute significantly to the tourism industry, programs, and activities in the Municipality of Tuburan, as well as to highlight the hidden beauties in each barangay, promoting and nurturing these places for the betterment of the environment where people can go and appreciate its majestic mark.

With its strong partnership with the Municipal Tourism Office of Tuburan, Project T.U.B.O.D. will steadily move toward the town’s journey to more advancements.

The inauguration of this project was indeed blessed with such strong figures with the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Democrito Aljun Diamante and the SB Committee chair on Tourism, Hon. Louise Potencioso, Executive Assistant III, Mr. Steve Salipot and Municipal Tourism Officer, Ms. Christine Mae Borja. Cebu Technological University – Tuburan Campus’ pillars, Campus Director, Dr. Ma. Carla Y. Abaquita, Dean of Instruction, Dr. Rowena P. Abaquita, and CAS Dean Dr. Lanny Merryl N. Gallarde, CAS Extension Coordinator Prof. Rogela A. Flores and Prof. Ryan Augustus Jore delivered remarkable discourses reaching the spirits of our beneficiaries and extensionists.

Project T.U.B.O.D.’s launching was attended by 30 contributors and beneficiaries from the various barangays of the Municipality of Tuburan, where the renowned tourist spots are situated. The CAS will be in reserve for this project from the very first planning up to the most anticipated outcome of this project. A big commendation for the effort of the faculty and students under CAS in assembling this launching a victory.
