CebuTech Tuburan Participates in Innovation and Technology Transfer Summit-Visayas 2024

The Innovation and Technology Transfer Summit-Visayas 2024 themed A Catalyst for Regional Development, held at Marcopolo Lahug, Cebu, on December 2-3, 2024, brought together innovators, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss and showcase the latest technology transfer and innovation advancements. This event highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving regional development.

The summit featured different keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, and insightful exhibitions emphasizing the tangible impact of technology transfer and its alignment with societal needs. The event showcased CTU products, including Squash Crackers, Calabaza Bar Cookies, Lemon Cookies, Hot and Spicy Coconut Vinegar, Squash Lengua Cookies, Eggplant Lengua Cookies, Squash Cookies, Eggplant Cookies, Squash Binangkal and Banana Chips. It is spearheaded by Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Y. Abaquita, Resource Generation Director Mrs. Emmylou A. Tabotabo, Dr. Lolita Velita, University Director of Resource Generation and Production, Engr. Naomi A. Bajao, Tech-transfer Director; Assistant Professor Vicel B. Albaño, FIC Director and presenter of CTU for product pitching; Dr. Monifel G. Calderon, Production Director, and FIC staff Shaun Lorenz Radan, the event provided a dynamic platform for stakeholders to connect and collaborate. This collaborative environment fostered initiatives that benefit the local and global community, highlighting the importance of innovation and partnership in driving sustainable development.
