January 10, 2024, signified a remarkable celebration for students of the Hospitality Management Department through Gala de Hotelyera. The event is a celebration of the essence of hospitality, a platform for excellence, creativity, and professionalism. The momentous gathering culminates the students’ learning journey. The event was also a thanksgiving activity, an avenue for students to express their gratitude to their parents, guardians, and instructors who graced the event. Another highlight of the event was the awarding of shop proficiency, where exemplary students were recognized for their outstanding achievements.



The Gala de Hotelyera was held at CebuTech Tuburan’s Bulawanong Tinubdan Cultural Center, featuring 300 participants, including parents, guardians, faculty members, and students.




The event was in collaboration with Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) 1A and 1B for their course in Kitchen Essentials and Basic Food Preparation, BSHM 2C and 2E for the course Food and Beverage Service, and BSHM 3D and 3F’s Strategic Management in Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Course instructors, Dr. Monifel G. Calderon and Ms. Everlie P. Vicente spearheaded the event.
