Following the series of enabling skills acquisition training sessions, the community extension project, SEWING with Love (Serving and Empowering Women to be Independent Garment-makers), culminated on February 22, 2025, at the Home of Love, Bagasawe, Tuburan, Cebu. The closing program consisted of an insightful and engaging exchange of inspiring words, sharing of experiences and gratitude, as well as a display of talents and skills from the beneficiaries, extension team, and equally important individuals and officials. Among the many successfully achieved goals of the project were the impressive sewn outputs created by the beneficiaries, showcasing the skills they have acquired, including aprons, blouses, skirts, shorts, tote bags, throw pillows, and cases, all crafted from leftover fabrics.
