On March 12, 2025, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-7), through the Shared Services Facility (SSF), officially transferred ownership of several equipment to the CebuTech Tuburan Food Innovation Center (FIC). Among the equipment transferred were a vacuum fryer, vacuum packaging machine, upright chiller, and upright freezer, collectively valued at over 4 million pesos.
The formal transfer took place during a ceremonial signing of the deed of donation at the FIC. The event was attended by Campus Director Ma. Carla Abaquita, FIC Chair Mrs. Vicel Albaño, and Resource Generation Chair Mrs. Emmylou Tabotabo. DTI-Cebu OIC-Provincial Director Marivic V. Aguilar, SDD Chief Atty. Richard Bobot F. Aban, STIDS, DTI-SSF Regional Coordinator Rio Angelo Escobilla, SUTIDS, SSF Program Manager Grace M. Durano, and Provincial Coordinator Clifford Dinopol also graced the occasion.
