On the morning of March 21, 2025, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Visayas Regional Office held a Public Information Campaign (PIC) at the CebuTech Tuburan Campus, focusing on its various advocacy programs. The event, which was attended by faculty members, employees, and students, featured a two-hour briefing covering key topics such as the Role of BSP in the Economy, the Design Elements and Security Features of Philippine Currency under the “Know Your Money” initiative, and Personal Financial Management. The session was led by distinguished BSP speakers Mr. Ian Mark Anthony Tee and Mr. Conrado Cabandi, Jr.
BPS’s PIC truly enhanced participants’ understanding of the BSP’s role in the economy and provided valuable insights on financial management and currency security features.
