The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office 7 paid a visit to the Agricultural Technology Business Incubator (ATBI) in Tuburan on May 15, 2025, to reinforce its partnership with the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and LGU-Tuburan. The visit focused on strengthening collaboration for future livelihood and agricultural initiatives that benefit the local community. Among those present is the regional partnership coordinator, Mrs. Giovanna Bistal, who engaged in meaningful discussions on sustaining and expanding joint development efforts in the municipality.
Over the past two years, CTU-Tuburan ATBI has been instrumental in the growth of 19 Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) in the municipality, all of which were enrolled in ATBI’s basic incubation program. These efforts have significantly contributed to the local livelihood landscape and entrepreneurial development. In recognition of this collaborative success, LGU Tuburan was awarded as Best Partner in the 2024 Annual GAPAS (Gawad sa Paglilingkod sa Sambayanan) Awards.
