KUSINA: Kakugi Uban sa Saktong Inobasyon para sa mga Nanay o Anak nga Adunay Abilidad sa Paghurno successfully opened its kitchen doors at the Home of Love, Bagasawe Tuburan, Cebu. The community extension project, a collaborative initiative of CebuTech Tuburan colleges led by the College of Technology (COT), was launched on July 1, 2025. Facilitated by team leader Dr. Vicel Albaño, the team imparted their expertise to equip participants—especially mothers and young people—with baking skills, innovative methods, and core values.
The KUSINA program aims to provide hands-on training in baking Squash Tart, Lemon Cookies, and Calabaza Cookies, while also teaching important values such as patience, hard work, and teamwork. The project was made possible through the collective support and efforts of key campus personnel, the extension team, and the unwavering participation of the Home of Love
