Last September 10-12, 2025, CebuTech Tuburan proudly hosted the 3rd Quarterly Meeting of the Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS), welcoming GAD chairpersons, coordinators, and focal persons from across Cebu Technological University campuses.

Guided by the theme “Institutionalizing Gender-Responsive Governance through GPB Review, Accomplishment Reporting, and Strategic Planning,” the three-day assembly provided participants with comprehensive sessions, including presentations of GAD accomplishment reports, orientation on basic GAD concepts and the Gender Mainstreaming Management System (GMMS), workshops on attribution templates, QMS compliance, and a status review of GPB 2025. They also collaborated on crafting and finalizing the GPB 2026, with open discussions on future directions for GAD within the CTU system.

As the first time CebuTech Tuburan hosted a university-wide GFPS gathering, the campus continues to advocate for and champion GAD initiatives, contributing significantly to the broader efforts of CTU.

This successful gathering highlights CTU’s ongoing commitment to fostering a gender-responsive and empowered academic community, where equity, inclusivity, and sustainability are actively practiced.
