CebuTech Tuburan Procurement Team conducted an insightful training session on September 19, 2025, at the Hometel entitled, “Training on Procurement Process in Accordance with RA 12009 for Procurement Personnel, Technical Working Group (TWG), and End-users.” Centered on the theme, “Empowering CTU Tuburan through Transparent, Competent, and Compliant Procurement,” the one-day event featured multiple orientation sessions covering key provisions of the New Government Procurement Act (RA 12009) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
The training also explored strategic procurement planning, various modes of procurement, contract implementation, and sanction mechanisms. These sessions were led by resource persons who are respected members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), including Ms. Emmylou Tabotabo, Mr. Sergio Magpuyo, Engr. Alden Gabuya, Jr., and Dr. Rowena Abaquita.
To reinforce learning and apply concepts in practice, the training culminated with a hands-on breakout session facilitated by Engr. Naomi Bajao and Ms. Yanessa Radan, making the day’s experience both meaningful and practical.
