In response to the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in northern Cebu, CebuTech Tuburan was able to send its first batch of relief supplies to the Municipality of San Remigio, with coordination from CTU-San Remigio Extension Campus.

This effort, led by Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Abaquita, Faculty Association President Dr. Alona Ordoña, and Extension Office Chair Dr. Devonna Celedonio, was launched a day after the quake on September 30, 2025. Despite difficulties caused by power and internet outages, the donation drive quickly gained support from CTU-Tuburan’s faculty, staff, and the local community.
The relief items, worth around ₱32,000 and mostly consisting of bottled water, rice, and canned goods, were handed over to CTU-San Remigio Campus Director Dr. Roda Larga.

CebuTech Tuburan is still collecting donations for a second delivery to the municipalities of Tabuelan and Tabogon. All donations are properly recorded by the University Extension Office and can be dropped off at the covered court on the CTU-Tuburan campus.
