December 3, 2025 marked the successful conclusion of THIMBLE – Transferring Hand-Crafted Innovations and Marketing Sewing Brands for Livelihood Enhancement, a transformative community extension program initiated by CebuTech Tuburan’s College of Technology. Designed to promote economic independence, THIMBLE empowered homemakers from Brgy. Mangga, Tuburan by teaching them sewing skills.
The culminating program was an avenue to celebrate completion, featuring talent performances by the beneficiaries and expressions of gratitude by Brgy. Mangga Captain Hon. Maria Josefina Cuesta. Beneficiaries Lourdes Gonzales and Diorina Elamne heartily shared their impressions. THIMBLE’s impact will continue to stitch brighter futures for these empowered homemakers.
