Project BUKAG 4ward proudly opens a community showcase booth at the Municipal Plaza starting today, December 14, 2025, strategically located right across the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua. The booth features delicately and passionately handcrafted bukag products, displayed for sale and accessible to everyone who visits the plaza. Each piece showcases the remarkable craftsmanship and dedication of the Bagasawe Bukag Organization (BBO) members, reflecting the cultural heritage and artistic tradition of the community.

A community extension project spearheaded by CebuTech Tuburan’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), the establishment of the showcase booth coincides with the town’s Christmas tree lighting celebration, creating a festive atmosphere that draws residents and visitors alike to discover and appreciate the beautiful bukag products. This initiative serves as a key avenue to promote Bukag craftsmanship and expand market access for artisans, aligning perfectly with one of the primary goals of BUKAG 4ward: to enhance the economic sustainability and visibility of locally made Bukag products.

The community is warmly invited to visit the BUKAG 4ward showcase booth at the Municipal Plaza, explore the beautifully handcrafted bukag products, and support local artisans in weaving a better future for Tuburan.
