In a stride toward strengthening cultural understanding and appreciation, CebuTech Tuburan students embarked on a cultural exchange event with Hanbat National University (HNBU) delegates from South Korea on January 28, 2026. Hosted by CebuTech Carmen, the group of Tuburan Technologists comprised student representatives from the various colleges and faculty members.
CebuTech Tuburan participants joined the CTU–HNBU Cultural Exchange Program, engaging with fellow students in campus activities that highlighted Filipino culture and innovation, such as cultural performances, institutional introductions, and interactive discussions. A key highlight was an in-depth presentation on Korean culture covering traditional attire, food, housing, and recreational practices, followed by an open forum that encouraged active student involvement.
The CTU-HNBU Cultural Exchange, through the university’s Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI) program, represents a key initiative to foster international partnerships, and linkages, and multicultural understanding.
