February 18, 2026, marked the first day of a three-day Local Strategic Planning event hosted by CebuTech Tuburan. Campus directors, resident faculty members, and non-teaching staff from various CebuTech campuses—including Tuburan, Tabuelan, Asturias, Balamban, Toledo, and Pinamungajan—convened at the Bulawanong Tinubdan Cultural Center on the Tuburan Campus.

The day’s activities centered on an Orientation to University Strategic Planning Aligned with the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS). Led by University Supervising Administrative Officer (HRMO IV) Dr. Jana Gloria Almerino, the sessions featured an esteemed team of HR and Planning officers from the Main, Argao, and CCM campuses—including Ms. Angel Rocamora, Ms. Jhomae Isoto, Ms. Mylene Pearl Herrera, Ms. Levi Pangan, and Ms. Ana Nicole Español. They began with a revisit of the university’s VMGO, Core Values, and Strategic Pillars to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with the university’s overall thrust. Discussions also covered identifying gaps and priorities, environmental scanning, action planning, planning for monitoring and accountability, office and individual performance commitment reviews, and other key strategic activities.

The succeeding days will feature insightful sessions designed to strengthen CebuTech Tuburan’s commitment to the university’s pursuit of excellence.
