Flight of Innovation: BIT Days 2026

BIT Days 2026

“Flight of Innovation: The Rising Talent of BIT Department” was the guiding theme of this year’s BIT Days 2026 celebration. A flagship event of the Bachelor in Industrial Technology (BIT) Department of the College of Technology (COT), the BIT Days 2026 was held on April 7–8 and featured various simultaneous events and competitions.

Day 1 featured a mix of creative, athletic, and technical competitions, including gown sketching, basketball, volleyball, AutoCAD and SketchUp contests, table skirting, drill and tool bit sharpening, and auto electrical activities under the guidance of faculty coaches. Day 2 continued the excitement with blind typing, power supply assembly, basic motor control, team welding, basketball, volleyball, and baseball events, showcasing students’ diverse skills and teamwork. The coronation of Mr. and Ms. BIT 2026 highlights the evening of Day 2.

Beyond the celebration, the event served as a platform for BIT technologists to showcase their skills, talents, and craftsmanship while fostering a stronger sense of community.
