“EDUCFest: Celebrating the Filipino Roots of the College of Education” set the stage for an unforgettable College of Education (COEd) Days Celebration on April 29-30, 2026. The two-day extravaganza transformed into a vibrant showcase where teacher education students unleashed their creative prowess and remarkable talents, igniting COEd spirit across campus.
Day 1 featured a series of enriching seminars that deepened students’ understanding of critical topics, including inclusive education, licensure examination success, and developing professional identity and communication competence among COEd Ambassadors. These sessions were brought to life through the expertise and insights of esteemed resource persons who engaged students in meaningful learning experiences.
The CebuTech oval came alive on Day 2 with a vibrant parade featuring Teacher Education Technologists alongside COEd Faculty Members. The morning’s festivities continued with the presentation of Pasundayag entries from the college’s different departments, showcasing diverse talents and cultural expressions across COEd. Day 2 also featured an award program honoring student achievements and recognizing outstanding teachers for their dedication and excellence. The celebration reached its pinnacle on the evening of April 30, 2026, with the highly anticipated search for Mr. & Ms. COEd Ambassador 2026. As the night drew to a close, the newly crowned COEd Ambassadors were celebrated.
Beyond the excitement and festivities, the celebration served as a learning avenue, enriching students’ understanding of cultural heritage and professional development while deepening their connection to the teaching profession.
