Marking a milestone in the journey of the next generation of engineers, the CebuTech Tuburan College of Engineering (COE) successfully hosted its 4th Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremonies on June 5, 2026, at the Bulawanong Tinubdan Cultural Hall. The solemn yet celebratory event honored engineering students on the threshold of entering the profession, as each apprentice proudly received their hard hat and pin which are enduring symbols of competence, readiness, and commitment to the engineering field.
The ceremonies were graced by keynote speaker Engr. Jan Aaron La Guardia, Tuburan Area Engineer/Supervisor of CEBECO II, whose address resonated with the gravity and promise of the occasion. Adding warmth and meaning to the event were the students’ families, alongside key campus and college officials, faculty members, and distinguished guests, all of whom offered messages of encouragement and inspiration.
More than a rite of passage, the 4th Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremonies served as a powerful reminder of the immense responsibilities and boundless opportunities that await the emerging engineers as they step boldly into the profession.
