CTU Nite 2026: A Night of Academic Excellence, Inclusivity, and Homecoming

CebuTech Tuburan’s annual cultural extravaganza, held in celebration of the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, glowed with vibrant success as the event served as a platform for multiple milestone celebrations.

CTU Nite 2026 opened with the recognition of board passers whose exemplary performance in their respective licensure examinations reflects the campus’s culture of academic excellence. The celebration was made even more momentous with the honoring of top notchers who etched historic feats for the campus: Ms. Chyle Gasanggan, BEEd Top Notcher; Ms. Sheena Karla Miñoza, BTLEd Top Notcher; and Engr. Mark Jhon Gera, each of whom also received cash incentives from CTU in recognition of their outstanding achievements in their respective board examination.

The spotlight then shifted to one of the night’s most anticipated segments as the CTU Icons 2026 competition took center stage.

Celebrated as a platform for inclusivity and self-expression, the pageant featured representatives from the LGBTQIA+ community across each department, each contestant commanding the stage with grace, confidence, and individuality. The competition culminated in a momentous crowning ceremony, as new icons were crowned, embodying the campus’s unwavering commitment to diversity, representation, and a culture where every voice is seen, celebrated, and heard.

CTU Nite 2026 reached a fever pitch as the disco dance floor came alive, with faculty members, retirees and alumni taking center stage and electrifying the venue with infectious energy, dynamic performances, and a palpable sense of nostalgia and belonging, a jubilant homecoming that bridged generations of Technologists.
