THE 2026 CTU TUBURAN AND TABUELAN COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES

“The Technologist’s Heart: Fostering Human Connection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

June 18, 2026, was a memorable day for the graduates of the Class of 2026, as CebuTech Tuburan Campus held its 81st Commencement Exercises. The significant occasion also marked the 5th Commencement Exercises of the Tabuelan Extension Campus.

The Commencement Exercises hold significance for many reasons, especially the recognition of students’ hard work and dedication. This year’s event was made even more special by the presence of important individuals, including families, friends, and invited guests. The ceremony was honored by the esteemed OIC-University President, Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, along with Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Reylan Capuno, University Directors, Board of Regents, guests from other campuses as well as campus officials led by Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Y. Abaquita.

The participation of Hon. Ana Theresia “Risa” Navarro Hontiveros Baraquel added exceptional distinction to this year’s Commencement Exercises. Senator Hontiveros graced the event not only with her attendance but also by sharing inspiring and motivating words with the graduates and everyone in attendance.

The event was made more memorable by the presence of Tuburan Mayor Christian Daniel B. Diamante and former Mayor Democrito “Aljun” Diamante. Tabuelan Mayor Rex Casiano T. Gerona’s support likewise elevated the occasion’s significance.

Magna Cum Laude graduates Rose Mae G. Tapil and Zeniza P. Torreon led the graduates in a message of gratitude and the pledge of loyalty, respectively. The graduates were formally inducted into the Alumni Association by its President Mr. Mitchelle Gallarde.

As the 2026 graduates sang the graduation song, they marked the close of their college journey and launched confidently into new beginnings, ready to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
