CTU Tuburan held its three-day Strategic Planning and Gender and Development (GAD) Enhancement Activity on August 3–5, 2026, at Solea Mactan Resort. Faculty and non-teaching personnel, together with campus officials, gathered for the event themed “Promoting Equality, Nurturing Well-being, Inspiring Teamwork.” The activity served as a venue for strategic planning and a platform to strengthen well-being through gender-responsive wellness and team engagement.
The event opened with welcome remarks and the statement of purpose delivered by Faculty and Employee Association (FEA) President Dr. Alona Ordoña and Vice-President Mr. Julian Cumad. Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Abaquita then set the tone with her inspiring message.
One of the highlights of the activity was the strategic planning workshop, which focused on vision setting, priority programs and target setting, group alignments, and the presentation of plans by office heads and college deans.
Adding meaning and warmth to the gathering was a recollection activity. Team engagement activities made the event more memorable and engaging for all participants.
With renewed commitment and a refreshed sense of teamwork, CTU Tuburan remains steadfast in its pursuit of excellence as it prepares for the opening of the new academic year.
