Alona M. Ordoña started working as a Job Order in the institution in June 2007 as a payroll maker. Before she transferred and worked in the academe she was hired in one of the companies of the Gaisano Group as an accounting clerk and was assigned in the Manila Office. She was exposed to purchasing activities. While working as a Job Order she never ceases to continue her post-graduate studies. In 2009 she was hired as a permanent employee, from clerical works she was transferred to the teaching field. From 2009 to 2014, she was a classroom teacher handling business subjects like: Principles of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Finance and Principles of Management. In May 2014, up to the present she was designated as the Canteen/Cafeteria Manager, part of the function of the canteen/cafeteria in-charge is to cater and provide food to the students and visitors coming from other campuses. Last March 8, 2021 another designation was assigned to her as the Chair of the Production, Business Affairs and Resource Generation.
She was a product of San Jose Recoletos earning the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Banking and Finance. She took the CPE (Certificate of Professional Education in CSCST-PC (Cebu State College of Science and Technology Polytechnic College, Tuburan Cebu) and earned her certificate in 2004. She pursued her graduate studies, M. Ed. (Master’s in education major in Administration and Supervision), graduated last 2011 at CTU Tuburan. To be in line with her undergraduate degree she took the program MAVED (Master of Arts in Vocational Education), graduated last March 2017 in CTU Tuburan. Still pursuing her post-graduate studies she’s earning 60 units of Ph.D. T.M. She is recently enrolled in dissertation writing at CTU Main.
She also took short training programs in Bread and Pastry, Food and Beverages Services, and Housekeeping. To support it is her NC II (National Certificate II). Since the emergence of the food innovation center she is already a part of the FIC team headed by Ma’am Maria Donna F. Buates.
